Profiler internal RT45 socket worn out.

  • Hi I have an issue with my Kemper the rj45 does not retain the remote rj45. This is not the remote lead, but the socket in the keeper. Is this replaceable without wrecking the warranty ? The system is usable but If any movement of the remote lead I loose connection to the remote. Thanks in advance. The remote lead is well protected at the Remote end but relies the socket to latch the plug at the Profiler end. Very weak point of failure. I use my keeper for live performance. John :(

  • I have the same problem. I would be interested in any solutions which don't require returning the unit to Germany, as I also gig with it constantly. As a temporary measure, I have bought a short RJ45 extension, with a male on one end and female on the other. I have wedged the male end of that into the Kemper with a piece of plectrum and I use the female end for the Remote cable.
It's literally my only complaint with the Kemper.
