Front/Alternative Input for reamping

  • Hi all,

Some will call me a stupid one who doesn't read the manual but I read it so I ask it: I posted few days ago a question about reamping with SPDIF (it doesn't work for me) and Input Reamp (Floppy signal for me) so I ask myself: why can't I reamp with the front or alternative input so tried and when I try to send the dry signal from my Focusrtie Scarlett to the front input or the alternative input, I get the exact tone that I play at first but there's some sort of larsen effect and strange little noises, crackles and "bips-bips" when there's no sound (at least we can't barely hear it when the guitar is reamped that way). Any idea to stop it or is it a really bad idea that can damage my Kemper???

    Thanks!

  • If you experience feedback in a reamp situation it points to some wrong routing in your DAW or Audio interface control software where the incoming signal is being send back to the input of your audio interface and from there back again to the input of the Profiler.
