Yeah a mate sent me a link to this the other day ...had never heard of it but quite impressed by it

I tend to use Reaper. I cut out the part I want to slow down, drag it to another track, then stretch it to hear the individual notes if I'm having trouble following it, or getting the timing down.

I use it since years as my default mp3-player.
It's practical to change speed and/or Key and to filter out voice or an instrument for practising.
The automatic chord indication works for simple harmonies but with failures - so it's probably just a clue for chords.
Now I think I know why in recent times there are so many contributions for chords on the internet with hair-raising harmonies.

Well, it's free now as I hear now but it was also worth to pay for it.

You have to fill out your name and email at the Riffstation website to get the free download. They will email you a link and you choose Windows or Mac.
