Master Mute/Direct Out tuner question

The thing is, the DI out, if "Git Analog" is selected, is a straight pass-through from the guitar input. If "Git Studio" is selected, it's converted to digital and passed on at line level to the direct out.

William, your KPA must've been set to "Git Studio".

So next issue!:

I’m using the rear Alternative input from the wireless unit because everything is rackmounted.
But that alternative input doesn’t seem to pass through to the Direct Out to the rack tuner.
(The Direct Out level setting is even greyed out)

Am I doing something wrong?
Or would I HAVE to use the front panel input in order to use Direct Out?
