Kemper rack unit smell & burned

    Hello fellow KPA users,
    I had a live performance yesterday, with my KPA rack unit. I worked for 10 minutes, then it started to smell, and suddenly turned off. Nothing was responding, the display was off as well.


    Today, I opened it, and found out that my KPA unit has a power module burned. Some condenser and a chip exploded.


    What do you suggest me to do ? Can you post pictures of your KPA power module ? I would like to see the condenser and chip models, so I can easily replace them with some new ones.


    Take a look at the pictures in attachment.

    I recommend you to send in your unit to the Kemper Service Center. (contact support)
    The warranty would expire if you repair the device yourself. (If it is still under warranty)
    I also want to warn you about consequential damages, if something goes wrong during the repair and you install the wrong component or something similar.


    Only the best for your Profiler and in the repair center the specialists know exactly what to replace.
