I'm finding that sometimes my powered toaster doesn't give me the hairy zizzle womp through a traditional speaker cab like my amps do for high gain.
So I've been adding a recti shaper in either the X or mod slot and it seems to be doing the trick!
I only set the gain in the recti shaper at about 0.3 - 0.9 and the volume no more than a +1 if at all. Hope this helps and cheers to those that already do! 
I tried it and it did give a little more "life" to the profiles.

i did that with a bit shaper, realised some profiles also did that on pre and post stack session
i really would like to know what the recti shaper, bit shaper means...or do you know if all tube amps do that sound?

I was just playing around with the bit shaper just now and it seems to have a dry blend in there as well. I was using it with a green scream stacked with a fuzz ds on a clean profile, it seemed to work best after the stacked od's but before the amp stack. Other shapers worked better in between the green and the fuzz. Unless you needed that "(S)Gnarled" sound lol
I think! Just maybe, I recall a vid where CK said the recti shaper is a negative feedback loop like rectifier circuit of some sort. And, i sorta remember seeing the recti shaper suggested in the front or after the stack AND/OR both, as recommended by the author of whichever manual it was. Either basic or Reference.

Hey you're right! I looked it up in the Reference Manual too and it says the same thing. That's funny, I could've sworn I saw it somewhere but maybe I got the shapers mixed up lol oh well still sounds badass haha
