In the spirit of nostalgia please see the attached group of profiles of a 1980's Peavey Bandit 65 Solo Series solid state amp.
Ok, so this is a solid state open back 1x12 combo amp, now you know what to expect
One that maybe a few of us played years ago, like coming up on 40???
Here is a link to some history on it:

Love or hate, bring your thoughts or experiences with this amp and maybe I will do some more profiles of it.
Sincerely,

Wow i had that one with two speakers(i dont know what type number)
i had a roland gp16 effect unit infront off it.... good old memories brings this back.. thx !! -
Are they direct/merged?
They are studio. This is something to consider but I would have to wire in the direct box as the amp is wired directly to the speaker. I could do a preamp profile as it does have an effects loop but I am not sure of the effect the power amp has on the sound.

Cheers for these. My mate had one of these back in the day! I can't wait to try it out.
If you ever come across a Laney AOR Pro-Tube 100, I would love to have decent profiles of it. That was my amp back in the 80's. It was stolen, and I still miss it to this day.

So, what do you guys think so far?
Was trying it out tonight with the 1960av dual mic'd with a 57/421...
-
I think I had one similar but the one I owned had a 15" speaker. Still great guitar tones played at the time thru a GSP2101
-
Just added to the main post a version with a Marshall 4x12 cabinet
-
My high school had one of these in the band room. I'd go in there and play through it every day at lunch. This will bring back some memories!

Any guess what song that solo is from? Hint: it's from a film.

You weren't kidding, Bryan; it sounds fantastic, mate! Thank you for sharing.
I'll take a wild stab in the dark based on the mood of the clip and say The Dukes of Hazard.

That sure does sound great! I'll make a really wild guess - "Coal Miner's Daughter".
-
Nope! More recent. 2000's
-
I have no guess but have to agree it does sound great!
I purchased this amp just to make this post
Glad someone is getting some use out of it.
