Kemper recorded tone has a digital fizz

Sounds like you've got the Cab block disabled on the output feeding the interface. You obviously disabled it for the cab in the room and might've inadvertently set it the same way for other outputs.

What are your output settings? You should check these first.

That's what I thought at first but IMHO this wouldn't result in a digital fizz but in an absolute crappy mess hehehe

... which some might describe as digital fizz, 'cause let's face it, it does sound fizzy as opposed to fuzzy.

Of course, it was my best guess as we had nothing besides that one-word description to go by...

Might have overloaded the preamp in the interface. The Kemper main Output is very hot, unless you have the -12 dBFS option checked in the output settings menu.

Good call Sammy. Definitely a possibility IMHO, and doubly-so 'cause these new-fangled digital devices break up as... digital, rip-your-head-off fizz.

You might want to be sure that if you’re recording digital out that you’re matching the sample rate between the devices (Kemper and Recording interface)

if you disabled the CAB on the front panel it is off for the line outs as well.
go to OUTPUT to disable the CAB for the Speaker Out (Monitor Out) only.

And not to pontificate (as that is not my intention)...but these type of things should serve to drive home the importance (and IMHO, obligation...given the money you spent) for the owner to read and be more than passingly familiar with the Kemper User Manuals...particularly the Deeper View, Reference Manual.
