Finally we're in the mixing phase of the songs for our next album (which we've been working on for 2 years on an off now).
This one's called STARTING FROM SCRATCH.
Guitars all Kemper.
Enjoy!
(Keyboards need to be louder and more dynamically mixed, so there's still work to be done).

very nice song Ingolf, very English Pop sounding, with all these vox & telecaster tones ( this is just my guess !) . I appreciate the variety of guitar tones, and the heavier part is welcome, as well as the solid lead tone.
Yep keys are a tad bit in the background, but so is the bass, at least on my HS7. I also ear much noise in the first 3 seconds , I guess you'll get rid of it.
Is that you on the vocals ? can't recognize your usual voice

Hi Raynaud, thanks for listening. Yes, this mix needs a tad more bass (the predecessor had too much) and I'll get rid of the noise as well.
You're right, this is mainly Tele (left) and Strat (right) as well as a Les Paul Junior which does the Wah lead parts.
Vox tones?

Very-well-put-together pop song, Ingy!
I like the progression, harmonies, contrasts between sections and the open-sounding verses. Oh, and the ending too!
Great job, mate.

Great Work Dr. I concur with the above experts. You got a very cool tune to put out there.

The hook at 2:13 was great man , haha did not expect this to get a heavy riff like that in there..brilliant ups and downs man.

Really nicely done tune. I especially like the harmonies

Probably worth noting that it stuck in my head for a while after just 1 listen.
That's always a sign that someone's done something right.

Nice track, Ingolf!

just listened to it through my DT 770 PRO and a Magnat Soundbar - first impression: amazing vocals and guitars and, ok, I just love this style of music
regarding the bass I noticed a significant portion of deep bass, whilst the somewhat higher bass range, which is able to produce some punch also on smaller devices is a bit missing to my taste...
hope I found the right words to express my thoughts in a constructive way...

thanks for sharing!Good ear and good thoughts, thank you!
While it was a deliberate decision to pronounce the deeper bass frequencies I'm planning to do a mix where the low end is less pronounced and bass is more aiming approximately 100 Hz. or above.
