Hey, a few times my remote has turned itself off mid performance which is inconvenient to say the least. I always tape all my cables down so I don’t think it’s that the cable is being kicked etc but I need to get it sorted because I have to power down then back up to to get it working again.

I also had this at a gig last Friday. Remote was down and came back on after a minute. But didn't affect the sound

I’ve been using the Remote since it first became available, and this has never happened to me.

One defect cable here, after replacing with an original new one I had no issues

There is sometimes a glitch when using the KPA in performance mode while being connected to Rig Manager with a laptop; not sure what the variables of this behavior are but I think it's a known issue.
The other thing that happens to me sometimes is the remote cable getting slightly pulled from behind the KPA (I think the little tiny piece of plastic holding it might be broken?) and even if it's not out completely, it causes the remote to disconnect. I can't remember if it has always been this way or not but I have to make sure the tip is inserted deep inside and couldn't be pulled during a gig.

Mine did it a few times not long after I got it but has been fine since then ....... until tonight that is.
I was playing in Browser mode trying to activate the tuner from the remote. Nothing happend. Then after a few more pushes of the tuner footswitch the remote decided to shut itself down. I tried unplugging and reconnecting the cable but to no avail. Then I turned off the KPA with the chicken head knob as usual. Nothing happened for a few moments as if the KPA was frozen then the KPA just turned off completely (no normal shut down routine just off).
I was connected to the computer but Rig Manager wasn't open and I was in Browser mode not performance mode. The cable wasn't moved all night (or from the night before) as in a studio situation not on a gig.
I have no idea what caused it but it is a fairly isolated incident so I will just continue to monitor it for a while longer and see if it happens again. I think my playing was just too damn hot for it handle tonight
