Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Is anyone else having problems signing in tot he forum on a Mac running Firefox?
I can access with no problems on iPad, iPhone and my iMac if its running Safari. However, I use Firefox 99.99% of the time on my iMac and it won't let me sign in at all. I can view posts in both the private and public forums but can post via Firefox.
I presume it must be a Firefox issue but wondered just in case it's not.

I'm running it on a PC and it's working fine, however, it still won't let me stay logged in if I close the window! Fresh Windows10 install and fresh Firefox install.
Hopefully though the "Bell" and "Message" notifications are still bright, that's the stuff I look forward to.
Not for me, I liked that too!
Tell you what. It now looks damn good on iPad
I like the new header they added, it helps break up the white. And the darker look under the top menu.

Fair enough, it doesn't bother me that much. I'm just glad it's a little toned down. Overall it's much more relaxing on the eyes now.

Agreed!

Me too!

That's interesting. With me it let's me login (i.e. it does acce[t my user name and password without any error messages) but then seems to immediately sign me back out again. But only on Firefox.

Weird!
I don't think it's Firefox because Chrome does the same thing, close the window and I'm logged out. I stay away from IE so won't be tryin' that, nope, not gonna happen LOL!
Are you guys accidentally using a private browser window?
Are you guys accidentally using a private browser window?
No, just regular window. The strange thing is as I just noticed is that it's only logging me off the Forum, not from https://www.kemper-amps.com/ I can still grab Rig Packs, RE profiles, edit my account etc...
Are you guys accidentally using a private browser window?
Not that I'm aware of. It was working on Firefox until a couple of days ago then stopped.
I'm the same as 808. It lets me log into the main site and do everything there but just doesn't seem to register the forum.
Did the forum get an incredibly large font setting lately?
On Mobile, text became black today. Did it get larger on the desktop version?
Text is larger Paul yes.
Now my Grandpa can read the forum
...and i can too after many beers cause text is so large LOL
Ash
The forum header/topic font size is maybe a bit on the silly-huge though ;).
It does look that way initially, but it might be an idea to give it a little time to see if we get used to it, Per; you never know, bro'.
I don't know about you guys, but I feel honoured-and-humbled that the team is trying to accommodate our wishes and I can't thank it enough. Thank you so much, K-Team™!
Back onto the wall thing:
I see we now have a more-appropriate background pic, complete with whisky bottle and glass, for our walls.
Could this be a baby step towards the reinstantiation of the customisable-background feature I've been asking for?
Still no sign of the "Recent Visitors" display, but I remain hopeful as I feel the team would surely appreciate its utility.
Members link
I'd still like to see the ol' "Members" link. It was handy for keeping up with the composition of the mod team, for one thing.
Bottom-of-page forum stats
We lost the information bottom-of-screen in the forums that told us how many members there were, how many and who were logged in and how many had joined the forum in the last 24 hours. It's a standard MO for forums to provide this sort of information, and I found it useful. For one thing, one could at-a-glance tell how-busy the forum was, which might determine when one chooses to have a session.

I agree. Much better.
