This is probably a very basic question, but I need some clarity on connecting midi devices please.
I am trying to use my Kemper remote to send midi messages to my MacBook so that I can control Apple MainStage. Can I use a cable such as this to connect midi out on the back of my Kemper to USB on my MacBook so that slot changes on the Profiler Remote can be set to send midi data? Also, will USB on my MacBook to midi in on the Kemper allow midi messages from my MacBook to change patches on my Kemper?
I have spent quite a bit of time researching, although I can't seem to find an answer to this basic question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
