I'm really excited , I finally managed to cook a killer Fender Rhodes rig just using my guitar. And all of this by accident, I was just layering some takes on my last track ...
Just listen to the last phrase of this track, I'm pretty sure most of us couldn't guess it's a real Rhodes or not ?
This rig has the the vintage bite , attack , bell tones and lots of components of the core Rhodes tone. I own a real one at home , so I know how it sounds, and boy... it's so close. I had to do short bends on my takes to let you hear it's real guitar !
I hope I can make a rig and share it with you... But I'm using a cocked wah on this ,
do some of you know how to store a rig with this wah position ??? That would be really cool if it could be used without an exp pedal too , but how ???
more on this later , but key components are : spring verb , cocked wah , chorus , delay & verb + my fuzz pedal as EQ in front.
