I know the next OS update will include the "liberation' of the effects slots. I would love to see this expanded to also "liberate" the direct control knobs on the front of the KPA. At the moment the toaster has 6 knobs which are tied to Modulation Rate and Modulation Intensity, Delay Feedback and Delay Mix, Reverb Time and Reverb Mix. While many would love to have direct access to all parameters via an ipad or laptop editor, I much prefer to have instant access to the KPA parameters without the need for an editor. However, it is somewhat limiting to have only certain paramaters (which I don't use that much) permanently linked to the Direct Control Knobs. It would be great if these could be user assigned to any parameter in any module as quick direct access controls.
For example, if you always have a Green Scream locked in Stomp C you could have both Mod knobs linked to Tone and Drive. You might even choose to have the Delay knobs also linked to the Green Scream Volume and Mix controls if you want.
In another example you might choose to link one of the knobs to give direct access to the Amp Definition control and/or amp Compression etc etc
The quick direct access via turning knobs is fantastic but it seems unnecessarily limited to restrict this valuable feature to paramaters that many people may not use much or may already have linked to an expression pedal through Morphing.
