How to find the name of effects ?

  • You are referring to "effect section". Not sure, what you really mean: section or module.

The signal chain includes three sections: STOMPS, STACK and EFFECTS. To see the effect types included in the STOMPS and EFFECTS sections hold the corresponding button for a moment. You will see four buttons representing the four modules of the section and types of effect in the modules e. g. "Studio Equalizer" or "empty".

The signal chain includes eight effect modules: A-D and X-REV. To see the effect type included in a module hold the corresponding button e. g. D for a moment. You see the effect type on the left side e. g. Green Scream.

What you see is the effect types. Effect types are hard-coded algorithms in the software. You don't see , if this effect has been configured manually OR loaded via an effect preset and if so, which effect preset. The relation to the effect type is permanent. A relation to to an effect presets would be would be "fragile" , as effect settings could be edited OR the preset could be deleted OR another preset with different settings could be created under the same name. As soon as you increase the Mix parameter in the effect, this effect would deviate from the preset if might be based on, which could be confusing. See effect presets as a way to rationalize editing. If you want to identify settings beyond the effect type, you need to look at the parameters and use your ears.
