so the black KPA shown at Musikmesse had a built in power amp. Anyone knows some specs?
When will this be released - will there be some kind of "mod kit" for the "non-power-amp" KPA?

A friend was at the messe and said that the power amp will be able soon but amp would have to go back to Kemper for retrofit
Also the Rack version (3U) is coming..same price -

That's ridiculous, I can't believe that.
What Mr. Kemper told me is that, unless you are comfortable with dismantling the unit and retrofitting the power amp unit, it is indeed necessary. This is not a module of sorts, but a power amp instead that corresponds to another version of the Profiling Amp which contains a power section that MAY be used with the current KPA, unless the unit is to replace current KPA's permanently.
