Yeah, got mine in 2012. Half of my LED's have gone now but I could never bear to send it back in and be without it.
It's one of the original runs. Do you think I could still get it repaired via Kemper after all this time?
Yes.

Yes.
Thanks, I'll have to drop the Kemper guys an email.
Go for it, Billy.
The thing is, IIRC the LED's were "upgraded" a few years after you bought yours. It's rare to hear of failures that've happened since that point, so it's in the company's best interests to acknowledge the fact that the initial choice of LED wasn't stellar even 'though it probably had no way of knowing it at the time. Seeing as you've had so many failures (roughly half of them!), I'd say it's a no-brainer that you'll be looked-after.
Almost 7 for me.
I purchased a green lunchbox in April 2012.
I sold it at the beginning of 2014 to buy a rack version.
At the end of 2014 I ended buying a green lunchbox again for recording purposes, leaving the rack version for live gigs.
Edit: BTW, best piece of music gear I’ve ever bought.
I got mine 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I should have pulled the trigger much earlier. I really like the fact that it's not too fiddly and that it sounds great right out of the box (with the right profiles of course).
After 2 weeks of use, my feeling is that it's an extremely well thought through product. You can dive deep if you want to, but overall it's very straightforward and the parameters actually make sense to me. Amazing how you can get great results by tweaking a profile to your liking.
I'm impressed with this little greenie
I'd keep the one with dead leds. Give it 5 years and ppl will start to relic the LEDs.
