Am I wrong in thinking you can import a stomp by itself from the rig manager? They usually come attached as an entire rig. But is there a way to get just a pedal? Such as an OCD Fulltone pedal or any kind of eventide pedal. And if so, do you guys know of a good place to get just pedal profiles ?
Importing Stomps only.

Stomps can only be moved via the Shared folder on a USB stick->KPA, Sheepfan.
Pedal-only Profiles cannot be exchanged except as Rigs.
-
So essentially, if I wanted a certain pedal I would have to download whatever rig had it attached to it, and then swap out the amp and cab myself with the browser, correct?
-
Yes, if you want the pedal-parameters programmed a certain way.
Remember 'though that you'd be importing parameter values for an effect type, the algorithms behind which live in the Kemper. If you could get your hands on them via a text file you could obviously programme the stomp yourself. This is the idea behind the wah-preset thread - you have the choice of downloading the presets and importing them via USB stick or programming them yourself based on the 1st-post's parameter values.

So how do I get the raw pedal files without the preset parameters?

Time to revisit my first reply, matey:

They're presets that use DSP algorithms (effect "types") that reside in the firmware (OS).

This is because the Amp Block is used by any Profile you create, regardless of of its type.
If you disable the Amp Block, as you alluded to earlier, you'll be left with no Profile, only DSP-driven stomp emulations, time-based effects, EQ and whatnot.

The effect algorithms as such are no "files". These are integral part of the OS. The only way to enjoy more effect algorithms is: upgrade the OS.
If you open any effect module and turn the TYPE knob, you see a list of the effect algorithms included in the OS installed. Nothing can get lost here.
If you receive files with effects, these must be effect presets, which can be imported via USB memory stick so far. A preset is a complete setting of an effect. There could be multiple presets for the same effect algorithm. E. g. Preset A being a Wah Wah set like a Cry Baby, preset B being a Wah Wah set like a Morley.

A-ha!
A hint of things to come. Kemperites rejoice!

Awesome, thanks guys.
