After this Window pops up, I cannot access or use Rig Manager, canceling the update is useless and the update always results in this, making the software to manage my Kemper absolutely useless.

The only option on this Window is "OK"

There is nothing I can seem to do with my RIG Manager.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks'

For reference, I am running a high-end system, Windows 10, plenty of SSD space, 32GB RAM, 2 GTX1080s in SLI... basically, there is no reason my computer should be having issues with a basic program like RIG Manager.

  • What are you trying to do? Install it for the first time or update it?

Update. And now whenever I reopen Rig Manager, it re adds all of the profiles I have deleted. I have had to delete the same profiles over a dozen times and still, the RIG Manager puts them right back on. I am at the point of absolute frustration with this thing.

  • It has happened to me before that Windows installer popup. And the new version never gets installed. The workaround has been to download the last version available in the downloads section in the Kemper support page instead of relying on the automated download and install from Rig Manager itself.

Yes but forget about deleting the rigs , just try to understand why the update doesn't work . Did you clic on AUTOMATICALLY CHECK FOR UPDATES UPDATES? And INCLUDE BETA RELEASE? Its on ''preference'' on your rig manager. If not ... do that !!!

  • FYI: I'm also having problems with the automatic update.

But I can cancel out of the install (rather than press the Install Update button) when the first dialog comes up, and then use Rig Manager just fine, not getting the update, but not stuck in a loop. If you do press the Install Update button and it fails, then yeah, you're left without Rig Manager running. Hitting Cancel allows you to keep going with the Rig Manager you already have installed.

I'm going to try the manual download mentioned above.

Note: I am NOT going to select the INCLUDE PUBLIC RELEASE checkbox. I'm not installing personally NOT installing V 5.0.17134.228 of RM for the public beta, I'm just trying to update to the newest release version.

Nothin' too good for my dog.

I did. I finally wiped the Kemper and reinstalled everything, including Rig Manager. It took that to get it working properly.
