This was on october 2nd:
I'll try to keep you posted on the progress from this point onwards. I don't think that "a few days" will mean "a month" but when you take into account what I wrote above, you might understand that what I write right now is entirely based on what I know right now.
so until the next info comes, I hope the "October deadline" stays...
-
I don't see an October deadline. I see G String telling us "it's close, be patient, we want it to be right".
I'm following this thread because I'm quite eager for the editor - among other things - but as I read some of the more critical posts it's clear to me that there are many who don't understand the SDLC and what actually goes into running a project like this.
Be patient everyone. Please. -
I did nothing but quote the last post (in this thread) of G String
Nobody wrote that there was an October deadline. That was a logical conclusion and that's why I put it in quotation marks.
(so until the next info comes, I hope the "October deadline" stays...)

Indeed @Dimi
I also don't understand what all these discussions are about.Completely useless..the editor will come any day now, tomorrow,on Tuesday maybe in 10 days, who cares..
"Who Cares", actually people do care. I believe that's the whole point of this thread. If nobody cared there would be no thread, and there would be No editor. IF Nobody cared.

The Kemper Editor will be indeed very helpful for making all the endless possibilities easier to manage and to connect to our individual environments..
Again this is a first.
We don't actually know everything that's going to be in it, but I can't imagine it's something revolutionary that hasn't been done before. It will be very useful, but most certainly not a first.

Still hoping that the editor works like a plugin. If that's the case, Kemper Amps will have outdone itself again.
Total Integration was pretty good with the Access Virus, but it crashed a lot. Perhaps the editor is throwing up similar challenges.
Also, I think @G String has been misinterpreted several times since he said "a few days". First people were thinking a week, now they're thinking a month... Earlier they were speculating that the end of summer was Sept 28.
Stop raising everyone's hopes, goddammit lol

Just curious....have we discussed when the editor will come, and whether or not it is even needed at all?
Because if we haven’t we probably should. -
meanwhile I do not need an Editor at all - would be nice ...

'There are over thirty words in the Irish language which are equivalent to the Spanish manana. But somehow none of them conveys the same sense of urgency' - Patrick Kavanagh.

I come here randomly to check the status.
In the meantime I use my Kemper. I got it in 2012, when the first OS was still beta.
The features of that little box „exploded“ and I believe that thorough testing before the first release is in the best interest of everyone.
It doesn’t really matter when we will get it. What matters is, that it should do the job properly and that it won‘t mess with our files in terms of file corruption, when untested scenarios lead to crashes.
The KPA has been close to perfect in that regard so far. I‘d like the KPA to stay that way.

The more Pooh looked inside, the more Editor wasn't there. ?

Excellent, *excellent* reference. Outstanding.

Oh, bother.

This week?

Are we there yet?
You know what ELSE everybody likes? An editor! Have you ever met a person, you say, “Let's use an editor,” they say, “Hell no, I don't like no editor”?
-
This week?
That is a repost and the "coming soon " is the coment of the original poster. I gues about the recording that it's taking place. Not about the Kemper editor.
