Weird metallic sounding low E string

  • I know i might be wrong here. But this forum seems very helpful so i will try my luck here. Otherwise delete this post please.

Since some time i have a weird "metallic" sounding noise if i hit my low open E string while palm muting.

It's just occurs on the low open E string. First fret and above is totally fine, like every other string too.

I tried to search for any loosen screw or similar but i didn't find anything.

I also adjusted the string height in case of a buzzing fret. But also a no.

I thought, that it might be a vibrating truss rod.

But i tuned my A string down to E and it doesn't have this weird "metallic" sound.

It's just the low open string, anything else is fine.

    I uploaded an example:

The metallic sound is always at ~1430hz. I will add a picture.

    Can someone help me please?

  • Do you have the evertune bridge on that solar?

If so turn the tuning peg a turn down on the string that has the metallic sound and it should dissapear.

If its not the evertune version i don`t know:)
