The temporary rig will remain in the edit buffer of the performance slot until you navigate out of the performance, and return to it. The easiest way to do that is to use the up arrow or the down arrow to leave the performance and then go back into the performance.
Did you change performances during edit? I select a performance and changed the reverb into the new reverbs. Normally the reverb is switched off. So I changed the effect but didn't stored it. After I switched to another performance and return to the performance where I edited the reverb it seems that the reverb changes are still active (stored).
