Need help in setting up a delay effect from the pros!

  • I've played guitar a long time.. but never been a big effects guy. having trouble getting to this one. Looking to do a cover of one of my favorite bands songs and it's a very distinguished delay. I know Matt uses the Line 6 DL4 on I believe.. sweep echo. I've included a YouTube link to the song.

If anyone can help me dial it in I'd be entirely grateful.

    Thanks!

  • Wow thank you! Only thing I did was turn chorus down a smidge. It's awesome!

  • Mnwarrior26 not sure I understand what you want - do you want the fx only on the tail of your playing (not during playing)?
If so have a look at the ducking setting.

Yeah the way I know it is the main tone is the dry signal and the effect is the wet signal. I only want the effect on the repeats (wet signal) and thanks for the tip
