Grafik Equalizer, High Cut, Low Cut for Main Outs in Output menu

  • I do believe a not so distant update will add high/low pass to the output settings.

  • A GEQ would be good, if frequencies are well chosen :

It depends on what you want to do (mix the guitare with others sources or "correct" speakers ?)

To mix in a studio or on stage:

30 hz : infrabass (decrease to clean the mix)

60 hz : the drum kick area is not far (lower at the frequency to let the place to the kick)

125 hz : heat for guit and very good for bass guitar (lower here, to let the place to the bass guitar)

250 hz : fundamental for guitar, but the fundamental for male vocal is not far (~200hz)

400 hz : whiplash or punch for guitars (specially for guitar metal sound)

800 hz : snoring (motor) for crunch guitar (hells angels8)), it's the frequency the crunch guitars prefer.

1000 hz : vaccum noise. Could be sometimes annoying, but it would be a good harmonic for bass guitar (could be lower on a guitar)

1500 hz : the place for snare

2500 hz : harmonics to put guitars forward, but it could be strident if the level is too high

the harmonics for male vocals is not so for (~2000 hz), descreasing the frequency can let the place for vocals.

4000 hz : it's a range for vocals too. It's the most sensitive frenquency for ears.

  • Did you read anything about that update?

I _think_ ckemper mentioned it at some point.
