mission pedal spring loaded and wah

I'm using the spring loaded mission pedal for the wah on the Kemper. I have set the wah to dis-engage at heel position. The problem I have is the wah cuts off instantly when I'm at heel, but what I'd like is to cut off after, say, 1 second. Is that feasible with the kemper wah parameters?

My issue with this is that I tend to hit the toe position a lot while playing with the wah.

I'll try KemperManiac' suggestion to use the bypass@stop instead.

Tested last night and realised I had it on bypass@stop too. Tried the bypass@toe, the behaviour is not dramatically different.

I'll try with a non spring loaded expression pedal to see the difference.
