This is a technical quest and there's probably tools out there to do this quickly;
I wish to analyse the frequency response of two WAV files and then attain the difference and create a filter of that difference.
Not looking to do this with the KPA but rather with any available DAW or audio-tools.
Scenario- Find and create the difference in frequency response between "cab IR A" against that of "cab IR B".
I am not analysing the difference between the cab IR WAVs but rather a few seconds of white noise pumped through the two "filters", so the source is identical but the EQ curve (filter) is slightly different, giving two output results.
I am able to see the difference between the two frequency-responses, graphically, but i'd like to create the difference as a filter. Its likely to be a complicated filter perhaps with many bands of varying Q and cut/boost amounts.
Any pointers would be appreciated. thanks
