Softshaper sounding like a ringmodulator when playing 7 intervals

  • Hi guys,

Have been loving the softshaper recently for clarity it gives over the green scream, but when playing 7s on my tele it sounds like a ring modulator?

Here I'm switching between the green scream/comp and the softshaper playing 7s. Anybody else get this?

  • A set of strings starting with .007 for the high E? Have you set up the guitar for that gauge, so you aren’t getting a lot of string rattle? Any non-Harmonic sounds coming from the guitar will be distorted, too.

Sorry didn't explain precisely. I'm talking about the interval 7. Try watching the video. It sounds weird.

  • Any other input here? Don't you finder the same thing?
