Powered Head Question

    Noob question here. I have some dirty electricity where my Kemper's main out to my passive cabinet is getting buzz from my guitar. I am currently going out of the main output (powered). Can I use an XLR and go to my cabinet while still transferring power? My hope is then I can use the ground lift to see if this prevents any issues.

    the power amp signal is only available at the speaker output and the internal power amp has its ground lifted by default.

    If you get any ground noise in that situation it must be coming from the input.

    If you want to use the main outs you need to purchase an external power amp that you connect between the main outputs and the passive cab.
