Kemper Remote Randomly Stopped Working

    I upgraded firmware to the most recent version after being prompted through Rig Manager. I bought a new cable to go from the head into the remote. I've factory resetted completely. I've tried turning it on without a USB cable plugged in.


    Am I missing something? It really just seemed to randomly turn off and I can't even pin-point doing anything differently than other countless times I've played with it.

    Have you checked the contacts on the ethernet ports, do they look okay?

    Try to clean them, sometimes dust and dirt causes such problems.

    What kind of cable do you use? Make sure not to use a cable longer than 8 meters.

    Do you use a PoE injector between Remote and Profiler to ensure the power supply?

    You can use any ethernet cable up to 100 meters when you use a PoE injector.
