I try to come back to life a KPA from a friend that he never updated, the version was very old, I think 1.0.8xxx. I did the update to 1.8.2 and then to 6.0.0, all right, but when connected to Windows 10 it does not recognize it: Unknown USB Device (USB / DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR / FAILURE) and Rig Manager 2.1.74 does not detect it either. I have tried on another PC, in different ports and with a new cable and the result is the same. HELP PLEASE !!!

You can try to reflash the device with 6.0 or 1.8.2 .
-
I suspect that you need to remove the Rig Manager program using the Windows Control Panel, then download and reinstall the proper version.

THANKS for responding so fast DamianGreda y Zappledan , and remove and install RM, but it is not solved. Windows does not recognize it and I have tried it on several computers. The problem seems to be from the KPA driver, it already has version 6.0.0, it does not give me the option to refresh it. What I can do?

Put the Firmware (KAOS.bin) 1.82 on the USB root folder. Then switch on KPA holding both PAGE "<"">" buttons to Tuner.
Then try to upgrade with 6.0 in usual way.

Thanks DamianGreda, but I am worried about the warning: "CAUTION: Use only to update from revisions of very old operating systems!"
-
Never tried this(I doubt it will harm your KPA - this is just forcing old FW flashing) but your KPA system was very old and maybe upgerade did't went well. If you have some worries - send a support ticket.

Thanks again for your help

"Reinstalling" the OS is meaningless. If your PROFILER is running 6.0.0 it's running 6.0.0. Please open a support ticket.

Thanks Burkhard, I did it. I hope they help me

I've got a very similar problem with my KPA (also 6.0) and Rig Manager (2.1.76) on my PC (Windows 7, SP1).
I already opened an support ticket, but the instructions didn't help yet: The KPA ist recognized and the actual driver is installed, but the PC shows an error message (Code 52).
I deinstalled the driver and the rig manager and reinstalled both, but nothing changed.
best regards
Jo

Please read this KB article about Windows 7 and make sure that your Windows installation is properly updated.

I had a similar problem.
Windows 7 SP1
I updated Windows. I had not done it for years. It was like 160 updates.
The device was recognized, then.
