Personally I don't care, and have never cared with my tube amps.
If a rig lives up to my expectations it's good.
That said, of course different speakers have magnitudes more impact how a rig sounds than tubes, and with my tube amps I choose speakers wisely.
There are speakers I like and ones I don't like with a given amp.
If it instills fear or beauty I'm up for a test drive.
I am all about how it sounds, regardless of price or pedigree. A good sounding amp is a good sounding amp.
Display MoreNot everyone has experience with all the different tubes,speakers, pedals etc used with the amps. Year, brand, condition etc can greatly effect the sound of the amp and therefore the profile.
Question, do you really care or is it just the name of the amp that draws you in?
Or maybe something else?

Tubes yeah, 6L6s vs EL, but not Sovtek vs JJ.. pedals yes. Bottom line, this sort of info gives me an idea how the profile will sound like. Easier to find one I need.
