-
Floor Unit?? Please let this happen!
-
Is this legit or....
-
Shocker!
-
Floor unit?
-
Cool! I guess in 5 days we should have more information.

Exciting stuff, there’s also a blueprint just after the dials that shows a faceplate with inputs above, looks like a floor unit to me. That should make a lot of people happy, it’s often come up.
Looking forward to finding out the details, price, is it a fully blown Kemper or a baby Kemper, any new features... only a few days till we find out!

Will it have profiling ability? Or will it be just a player? That will be interesting to see.
-
Hopefully they release RM 3.0 that same day…..I'm keeping my toaster.

The timing makes sense. In order to have a floor unit they'd have to build all the editing capability into the unit, which would make it too complex, or have a separate editor (ta da!).
It'll be interesting to see how they've approached this. Either as a standalone piece of gear, or as a KPA "player" that needs a parent KPA to manage the config (eg: Apple Watch).
If it's totally new and doesn't require the KPA then they'll convert a bunch of non- Kemper users, but would probably be $$$
If it's just an improved remote with the ability to work without the KPA they'll probably get instant sales from at least half of us existing users and would theoretically be relatively affordable.

Curious if it will end up being a 3 button model in line with the HX Stomp and FM3 competition. The drawing says no, but that's what is out right now in the market. Interesting, very interesting.
-
The most interesting thing that I see is what isn’t there - Dedicated fx chain switches. Maybe this is more than just a floor unit, something new with more routing options?
-
Looks like a floor unit... I wonder if it will require a “parent” Kemper (for programming/loading of profiles), or be completely free-standing.
Or... if it will have any new “Kemper 2.0” features?
-
Yeah, the pictures show a floor unit. That would be a killer product since some users don't profile, they just use the existing rigs available. Great Kemper!! Hope you announce new drives and fuzzes, too

Really curious if the editor will be released at the same time, as a floor unit (with fewer knobs) may require an editor to be programmed.
