I will be using the Stage for recording, as this will replace my Powerhead. I will also use it live as a pedal board with my Carol-Ann Tucana 3r. I'm not into FRFR and I prefer the sounds of a real amp in the room.
The Carol-Ann footswitch connects to the amp via a XLR cable. With my HXFX/ES8 I've been using a MIDI to XLR connector box which goes from the HXFX via MIDI to the box, then out to via XLR to the Carol-Ann. Why they've done it with XLR I'll never understand, but they have. Can I bypass this with the Stage or do I just need to do the same thing?
If this is the case I'll just put the Stage and the box and the Mission Expression pedal on a Pedal Train.
