I just updated Rig Manager to try any interface with my new Stage unit (been a rack user for years) and I keep getting the same message "The USB Connection between your profiler and computer is not stable" this happens with both my desktop and laptop (both mac) and when I try different USB Cables. I had Rig Manager working fine with the stage yesterday, yet today Im having no luck.

Yea another issue.
I have to turn the Stage off and close RM, start the Stage up again and then open RM or I get the same thing.

yeah, that works for me as well. Thanks for sharing that, hopefully this will get resolved soon.

RM freeze my PC with the Stage. I cannot use RM this version. I have open a ticket with support.

Hopefully along with everything else..

Yeah, so far my stage has frozen and crashed 5 times in about 2 hours of playing. I wont be gigging with this until they make the software more stable.

Does your emit a strange ticking noise when you use the monitor outputs? Turn it up, and have a listen.

Rhett, I have heard that the stage is pretty stable if not connected to rig manager. There a definitely issues that the good folks at kemper are working through so hopefully we see something soon. I’d love to see/hear the stage on your channel soon.

I'm having a similar issue. Rig Manager seems to crash fairly often which occasionally crashes my Stage.
I also find that I get crashes when I save performances... anybody else get that?

When you boot back up after the crashes do you get a date/time error?

I did but no more crashes since I stopped using RM

But you were getting them often before?
I'm currently building presets for a tour I have coming up so I need RM to build my performances a little quicker but maybe I'll have more luck once I've done that and can leave RM for now.

Three times in total. Once without using RM (but it could have been open, I don’t remember) but because of rebooting 4 times in succession. Went straight to the clock error without freezing.
Kemper thought that the interna clock might be defective but seeing that the error is now popping up all over the forum, it seems to be a global Stage issue. Let’s hope it’s just a software fix. They said they’d get back to me about it 8 days ago and I haven’t heard from them.
I haven’t connected RM in a week and no freezes since. I was just playing though.. yesterday I again did some editing in the stage and got a LCD blackout during selection of FX but it restored itself. Also noticed the morph LED for slot 5 is defective. I’ll create a new post about this.
I think Kemper HQ is totally overwhelmed by the range of issues with the Stage and most of their engineers being on holiday. I feel for them but I can’t understand their motive for rushing this. It seems that software and quality control both are not ready for release. I feel like a product tester.

Also the lack of communication at times is frustrating. I’ve had 4 emails ignored now. Personally I don’t feel like that’s acceptable.

Have you check your spam folder. For some reason kemper emails always get sent to my spam folder

Yea they’ve been going in there. I’ve checked. I’m pretty confident they’re not replying anymore.

I’m sure kemper support are not ignoring you. Maybe give them a call I’ve done that a few time and they are very helpful.
