Yes, I did. Thank you
They received it, and I'm sure they're working on it.
I check the download center and my email account... let's say... "a few" times a day, because I know it will be solved soon.
What is very strange for me is that only two of us seem to be affected by this issue.
Thanks again.
Hello,
This afternoon I was asked to send a video with my problem....So I did...I didn't update yet to 7.06..I will try now...
Just update to 7.0.6....the Tap tempo problem still exists...Hoping for a quick solution...
7.0.7 is here!
"changed: scanning of foot buttons improved (Stage)"
Could this be what we were waiting for?
Let's see.
Well...
It looks like...
Yes!!!!
YES!!!!
Maybe it's too soon to celebrate, but I'm celebrating!
Thank you, Kemper team!
Sounds good!
I celebrated too soon.
After an hour of normal playing, the problem is there, again.
Is it okay after a power cycle?
and does the beatscanner work? (i.e. : pressing long on TAP)
Is it okay after a power cycle?
No. After a power cycle sometimes it works, and then stop working after some time, and sometimes it doesn't work and starts working later.
and does the beatscanner work? (i.e. : pressing long on TAP)
Yes. It seems to work properly.
When the Tap stops working correctly, it uses to work if I tap a very fast tempo, but not if I tap a slow one.
When the Tap tempo doesn't work, if I go to page 2 in RIG menu and I manually turn the BPMs to the minimum position, the Tap switch starts working correctly again.
I hope this help.
It's strange that only 2 of us seem to have this problem.
This Saturday, at the gig, I checked the Tap switch in a good friend's new Stage. It had the same problem, but he only noticed when I demonstrated it. Anyway he didn't care, as he doesn't use the Tap switch.
does the tap button feel & sound the same as the other buttons? (i.e. the sound & feel of the 'click' when pressed) ?
Yes. It feels and sounds like the other ones.
He already used a different button assignment for tap tempo earlier in the thread to rule out the button. ?
Yes, I did. I tried Tuner and Looper switches. Same results.
Today, the Thomann Money Back guaranty expires.
I wonder if I did it right not returning the Stage.
I'm almost sure the switch is not broken, but 20 days have gone since I opened this thread and the support ticket and the problem is still here.

The 30 days are there for things to return if you really don't like them. If you like the Kemper and want to keep it, then you have a guarantee of 3 years. So if there really is something broken or shows a really unexplainable thing then you can either have Thomann fix it for you or send it back to Kemper, directly after the "invitation". So, if you like the unit and want to basically keep it, which I assume, then just keep calm... ?. Try to contact Kemper support again.
