RM not seeing profilers common issue??

    I’ve read about this a lot on the forums and have experienced it today and I’m still no closer to sorting it. I’ve upgraded both my studio profilers to FW 7.0.5 and the latest RM and now RM won’t see my profilers. I’m on OSX 10.9.5 and in My Mac it shows the profilers connected. I’ve spent all days trying to sort it but no such luck. I’ve sent a support request but again I didn’t get an automated response like you normally do.


    I’m no computer guru at all but why does this problem happen? And how come RM doesn’t Seem to have sorted this issue out, posts regarding this issue go back a long way. It more common on Mac than PC??

    You have an old driver on your mac which needs to be removed:


    On some Macs the Library folder is hidden. To make it visible, go to the Finder, locate the "Go" menu in Finder and open it while holding the option key. You will see an entry called Library which you need to open.


    - Locate /Library/Extensions/Kemperprofiler.kext and delete the file.

    - Also, look at System/Extensions/Kemperprofiler.kext and delete if present.

    - Reboot your Mac and start Rig Manager.
