Saving in Browse mode

I discovered that saving changes in Browse mode some times result in a dialog question to replace a profile or to store it under a new name. But then, I more often miss this option and when I store under the same name, I can see in Rig Manager that the profile now is doubled. In performance mode, if I do not change the name, the rig gets overwritten.

Anyone here to explain this logic?

In Browse Mode, a new Rig is created. It has the same name, but, it has the new Creation Date, so you know it is a newer version. An unlimited number of Rigs can be saved in Rig Manager, and close to 1,000 Rigs can be stored in the Kemper.

In Performance Mode, the Performance Slot is replaced when it is updated, because a Performance Slot can contain one Rig.

But sometimes not. I am not sure if the logic behind is: saving for the first time asks for replacement, later savings result in a duplication?

I am having the same duplication issue. To me, it would seem like a bug.

Same issue here, must be a bug as can’t be an intentional change, makes no sense.
