I've got this too. Doesn't bother me though as it hasn't affected anything.

The clock error issue!
the clock resets itself when plugged in via USB to rig manager.Reverts to an error again when powering up
-
Same message here, looks like it doesn't affect anything, but it happened 2 days in a row. 7.1.3 here, no rig manager connected.

Hi kpahuitsing when we will have a release with this fixed?
-
Unfortunately still can't reproduce the phenomenon over here. There are a couple of units on their way to us which supposedly showing the error consistently; we will analyze the problem using those units.

Looks like this is related to this change on 7.1.3 "
I'm IT Enginner so I can understand you a bit, take a look, I could help you, just let me know how...
This is my stage info for tracing:
Serial: PSCvThjC8vZ

Me too.
Just send a support request.
If Stage remains connected to power grid, date and time settings are retained when power is cycled.
If Stage is disconnected from power grip (unplug, or like I do, flip a master power switch, the power light turns off), date and time settings are lost when powering on.
I also downgraded to 7.1.2 and it works ok in this regard.
Upgraded again to 7.1.3 and date/time gets lost again.
FW issue I reckon.
Hi, It means that is related to 7.1.3 last change, same to me, good testing.
-
Mine was working properly since August, it started showing up this message 1 day after the 7.1.3 upgrade... the 2nd or 3rd. time I turned it on.

Hope they deal with this asap, I'm sure it is a 7.1.3 related

I had this clock message show up on one of my Stage units. None are on the latest OS. Thy are both on 2.08.

Hi, recently? Days ago? When the messages started appearing?

Hi, recently? Days ago? When the messages started appearing?
About a week ago. One is a brand new unit bought this month, the other was a replacement straight from Kemper.
I was testing them both out so I am not 100% sure which one did it. Not happened since but none of them have been completely unplugged from the mains since.
I have a feeling it was the one in my control room as I seem to remember it happening in there. If that is the case, it is the new replacement unit from Kemper.
Been using it extensively since and it has not done it since. Like I said, it has not been unplugged from the mains.
Going to get round to putting it in my live room and swapping it round for the unit in there as I have not profiled with this replacement and it’s quicker to setup and test in the live room. -
The guys at Kemper sent me a new test beta to see if that helped. Sadly not. Even now going back to earlier firmware the same issue presents. The time date correct themselves when plugged in to USB/Rig Manager.

what is the exact version you got from support? (7.1.x.zzzzz ?)

My stage was fine. I used it every week for a few months. No clock setup error.
Now I return after 10 days abroad. During two weeks the stage sat unplugged.
Today at rehearsal I had the clock error. Now at home it happens again.
When connected by USB to rig manager, the error appears but in the system menu both time and date are correct.
When not connected to rig manager, time and date are back to 2010/01/01 00:00:00.
Running version 15295 on stage #2.

This definitely came with 7.1.3. and maybe with the "fix" that Stage does not turn on when you plug in power cord. It is quite typical that you keep device behind some stable/protecting power source which you then turn on when you start playing while it is otherwise off. I now get this day/time lost problem every time I go to play with my band.
Very strange if this can not be reproduced with Kemper guys which would mean that there is some HW dependency also behind OR it can be just timing issue in boot and "normal" variation between units HW. Some work ok and some not.
My unit gives a short "lights flickering" flashes, when you plug in power cord. So part of HW is at least waking before SW kicks in and keeps the unit off. This is a bit disturbing looking as such. I wonder why the power switch was designed to be this type of "SW switch" instead of the real HW switch.
The 1st unit I received had a dead column in display and I had to return it. I'm still experiencing some odd behavior now and then which I may not be able to reproduce. How ever good sounding this device is I've been reluctant to gig with this because I do not yet trust it. I hope Kemper will get this matured so that it can be trusted. Unit sounds great as such (I've had / still have Fractal Axe-Fx, Helix, Headrush....)

Hi kpahuitsing could you tell us why you are not able to replicate the issue? Why some Leds are flashing when we plug ac cord to the unit? Are different hardware versions of stage around the world? Could 7.1.3 and power switch design hurt our devices? thanks for your detailed answer

My Stage with 7.1.3 still turns on when powercable is plugged in. If I turn the unit off properly (with power button) clock error occurs. If the powercable is just plugged off, the the clock works fine after restart. Strange thing!
