Kemper Pedal In Lieu of JHS Morning Glory - Transparent OD

    The Kemper has the Tube Screamer and Boosters. I can't find a good effect that will replace my Morning Glory. I like the Morning Glory for both electric and acoustic rigs. Am I missing something inside the Kemper that acts like a good transparent overdrive. Thank you

    I am not much of an expert, but I use several options for that sound:

    A.) a soft shaper with a bit of level boost

    B.) add a bit of gain, volume, and mids with the morph function

    C.) I have a present Tone junkies did for a Blues Breaker a few years ago where they used an eq to scoop the mid hump of the Green Scream.

    Studio EQ in front of the AMPLIFIER.
    Boost the Volume on the stomp, use high- and low-pass to sweeten the sound while keeping the mids flat.

    If it really were a transparent OD, the Pure Boost would sound like it - an overdrive pedal will always bandpass (high-pass + low-pass) and probably skew the frequency balance to achive a good sound.
    At least all the ones I had, opened up and/or measured did.
