BUG in OS 7.1.6

  • Performance Mode:

I have a rig in Slot 1 and Slot 2 and another in Slot 5.

If I press the button (right) to jump from Rig 1 to Rig 2 (Slot 1 to 2) there is no problem.

If I press the buttom again, the black background jumps to Slot 1 (Rig 1) back.

It does not jump to Slot 3. It's not possible to jump to Slot 3, 4 and 5.

Attached is a video in a .zip file which shows the bug.

  • With the 7.1.6 beta and RM 3.0 beta, if the slot isn't enabled you can't select it on the unit. Enable an empty slot and it works as expected.

Presently I see no way to enable empty slots on the unit. Only in RM.

Previous versions allowed you to select slots regardless of their status.

    That's nonsense.

Of course you can jump from slot to slot, even if the slot is not enabled.

You don't need RigManager to do this.

I reinstalled OS 6.0.0 and it works fine. I can jump from slot to slot as desired.

There is a bug in 7.1.6!

    So be carefull!!!

  • I'm agreeing with you.

Might be nonsense for you, but that's what I just experienced with my unit using RM 3.0 and OS 7.1.6.

Did not do this on 7.1.4.

  • Boa.

I use my Kemper for about 4 years now. Believe me. You can use the buttons of the Kemper to do everything without Rigmanager!

And in OS 6.0.0 I CAN use the button to jump from rig to rig in every performance. (I just did 5 minutes ago!)

In OS 7.1.6. I was not able to do this.

There is a bug in 7.1.6.

Maybe not in your Kemper, but in mine.

  • Again...I'm *agreeing* with you. This behavior is only present in 7.1.6.

    Sheesh.

  • Well. Fine.

But if this behaviour was not in former OS, so there are 2 possibilities:

    1. The company wants this behaviour (that's very unlikely)

    2. It's a bug

Once again.....I agree. Have from the start.
