Switching cabinets? The right way to do it?

You'd have to save cabinets one at a time to get them from rigs, but if you have IR's in folders you can just drag them into one of these folders.

Then as you load your other rig you can just double click the cabinets you've saved.

This is how I swap out and try different cabs as well! Saving the cabs you like from different profiles as presets, makes it easier to try out different ones.

i agree that presets is a simple and organised way of swapping cab once you know which cabs you want to swap. However, it needs you to have made a preset of that cab in the first place. Until you have decided which are your favourite goto cabs then you still need a quick way to audition cabs in the first place. Therefore, lock all but cab is your friend. Once you find a cab you like definitely make a preset from it and reuse it at will from then on.

they are two separate workflows which in my opinion are suited to different jobs.
