I’m an Apple guy, but for the sake of convience I want to get a cheap-ish windows table that I can just hook up to my Kemper and use the editor. Any suggestions?

Not sure if a Microsoft Surface Go would work, but we've used one as a kiosk at work and it's been solid for about a year now. If you're wanting to do anything processor intensive I'd get something gruntier.

I'm using a Surface Pro 2017. It's my main computer anyway.
Any older Surface Pro should do. Make sure it's running Windows 10 and has a good battery.
One caveat is that currently in the beta, adjusting rotary knobs is kind of an on/off situation. Needs a mouse.

I'm using a "CHUWI HI13" Tablet in the Band, also for in Ear Mixing. No problems woth that.
