I run some outboard modulation pedals that the KPA isn't likely going to replace; Strymon Timeline, Boomerang Phrase Sampler, etc.
I set up the stereo effect loop on the "Mod" effect spot and lock it, as suggested in the manual. However if I load someone's rig where they used the "Mod" effect as part of the rig I loose out because my lock setting overrides it - even if they didn't use anything in the "X" location. Of course if the "X" location is open I could copy what they used in the "Mod" spot to my KPA and then retrieve it into the "X" location but I don't even see what I'm missing if I lock my stereo loop there.
I would really like to see the effects loop be handled elsewhere like in the "system", "input" or "master" setting menus - including lock, location, mix and volume (allowing for both send and recover volumes would be nice too). Aside from the designated "Delay" and "Reverb" sections there are only 2 spots for post amp modulation so if anyone wants to run a combination and lock their loop on it is a problem.
