name is PT Marshall Fortin 6 - It's red lead channel, gain is at noon, incredibly overdriven and saturated but still has a lot of clarity. Bogner 4x12 cab with one MXL144 Ribbon mic on it.
See what you think. I did 18 profiles total of the Fortin - only thing I didn't mess with was clean channel. Different combinations of cabs (Bogner and a Mesa oversize Armor cab), Microphones (MXL144 Ribbon and then the MXL144 combined with SM57 and a E609 silver).
Anyways, comments welcome! I'll probably do the entire Fortin 'dump' later this week. I also redid my Bogner Ecstasy profiles of the red, blue and blue boost channels with the Ribbon and the blended mic recording setup. Sounds better IMHO than what I had before. There are six of those - Blue channel w/ribbon mic, w/boost, w/3 mics, w/boost, and red with boost and two different mics.
