Playing in the studio or one man band as i do many gigs, i do like playing with Full range miked guitar amp sound, but with real drums and bass on stage , playing with full range sounds thinnier against the real instruments and i do prefer a cab in that instance. Stage sound blends better!
Hopefully the Kone delivers the right combo. just i assume a choice will have to be made to make it closed or open back to get those Fender type sounds
Conversely, I just bought a Headrush FRFR 108, mostly for use with my Strymon Iridium-based board. I'm quite liking it so far, though I haven't had chance to really test it at rehearsal yet (bloody corona virus has cancelled my next three shows....).
