Kemper Kone & Cabinet Budget Solution for home use

    Hi there,


    i want to have the new Kemper speaker or the cabinet. As I play at home or in a PA no big thing is required. So two questions:

    • Is the small Camplifier by Ritter Amps enough to power the Cabinet for home use?
    • As I have a Headrush FRFR 112 it comes to my mind, that it could be possible to replace the 12“ with the Kone? Do you think that will work with the Headrush Amp? What should I do with the tweaker? Not sure if I am a fan of this solution.

    I wouldn't start messing up the Headrush. Just sell it if you like the cabinet.


    I read several times now that the Camplifier Studio has enough power to drive the Kabinet for Home use or even small gigs. But don't expect to level a loud drummer.


    I'm going to wait for the powered Kabinet, which has been confirmed by CK. If it's too expensive, I'm going to go Camplifier + passive Kabinet. But to be honest, I'll probably pay the markup. I prefer an integrated system.
