Kemper to Eleven Rack to Pro Tools?

  • Hi everyone,

    I recently bought a Kemper Profiler, really enjoying the tone however I'm having some difficulty connecting it to my eleven rack so I can record in Pro Tools.

    At the moment it's;

    • Kemper S/PDIF In/Out > Eleven Rack > USB > iMac (Pro Tools)

    Does anyone know what ins/out I should be using firstly on the Kemper, secondly on the Eleven Rack and thirdly within Pro Tools. Any wisdom you can provide I would be eternally grateful :)

    Cheers.

  • PROFILER S/PDIF Out into Eleven Rack S/PDIF In

    make sure to use proper S/PDIF cables, not just any RCA cable, they look the same, but they are not.

    S/PDIF settings for the PROFILER and Eleven Rack must match

    Your audio interface must be set as a clock slave to S/PDIF, since the PROFILER itself is not able to act as slave of an incoming S/PDIF clock. • The PROFILER can generate a clock of 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96 kHz. Your audio interface and DAW will be clocked at the selected rate and your DAW project should also be set accordingly. PROFILER Head, PowerHead, Rack, and Power Rack need to be master of the clock. PROFILER Stage can also be used as slave.
