Sorry if this was already asked and answered. I could not find "made in..." or "assembled in..." anywhere on my KPA or the box. So, I am curious. Is it made in Germany?

Written on the box.
'Designed and manufactured in Germany.'

yup guitartone got the answer
Thanks for the answer! Pleased to confirm this...
BTW, all the people (mostly non-guitar-players) raves the classic look of my KPA. The same comment from them tends to be how expensive it looks. Never got the similar comment with any of my other rack gears.

I wonder how many guitarists like this painting?

The same reaction I got when I saw Parker guitars' headstock first.
gerMONEY!
Yesterday, I found the box my KPA was packaged sitting on a shelf in the garage. Then I saw the side of the box saying: "Made In Germany" in a huge font... I must have been too anxious to play that thing! Anyway, I flattened the box and put it among other recycle shipping boxes, knowing that I would not need it for quite some time. --Jake
In the USA, at least, if a piece of electronic gear is missing the legally required origin label, most people assume it is made in China. Many people avoid Chinese products (because of unfair trade, human rights issues, slavery, etc.). A label that says the product is made in Germany or some other reasonably democratic country is a strong selling point...and not a wise thing to leave off.

Unless of course that product is made by Apple -- in which case, it's designed in California, but made in China. I don't think people care much at all about the unfair trade, slavery, etc. I think 90% of stuff in Walmart is also made in China ....
