Optimize Pickup with EQ Pre Stack

  • Today i walked to an guitar store to try out different guitars and to compare my LP with EMG (passive). I Always thought the pickups are to muddy/dark, perfect for metal sounds, but not for vintage etc.

i thought i´ll have to Change them to amber spirit of 59 pickups, but now i´ve tried another way to Sound them cool.

I use the stock EQ (everything flat), but not in post stack, i use ist in pre stack to modulate the Sound +/-

    Bass -3,8

    Middle -1,8

    Treble +2,6

    Presence +3,6
