i would star trouble shooting by setting the input menu to default settings, turn off all stomps and FX so you are only hearing the Amp and Cab section (stack). Set the output menu main out to Master Stereo and take it from there.
If I set everything to the default settings, do I lose all my saved performances?
I've updated the software and that worked fine but the issue is still there.
So the sound cuts in and out at a low volume but at a higher volume (Playing with full band level of volume) It doesn't happen.
I'm wondering if there is a slight crack in the speaker itself?
I want to order the Kemper Cab but I worried that there is a bug in my Kemper Rack causing the issue so before I do that I need to figure this problem out, and it has taken up most of my day so far with no success.
i think it is time to log a support ticket.
the will probably ask you to send a backup of your Kemper to analyse. They should be able to tell you if the unit is faulty and if not how to fix it. The support details are on the website.
Okay thank you,
By the way, just in case this is the exact Model of speaker I am using with the Power Rack.
Perhaps you can read through in the link and see if there is any reason I shouldn't be using this speaker model.
i dont see any particular issues that would make it unsuitable. Ot is much more likely thst you either have some setting wrong or either the KPA or speaker is faulty.
Not sure why you guys are derailing the thread :p Anyway...
The Kab/Kone is supposedly created to give us all the joy of FRFR (sorry CK), and give us back the amp in the room feel.
It has the advantage over a regular FRFR speaker of being able to act like a regular guitar speaker (imprints) OR an FRFR speaker
Well, things are not exactly like that. Kone exhibits anyway a narrower diffusion pattern than a regular FRFR cab. This might be welcome or might be an issue, depending on how we plan to use the cab or what our needs are. The fact that the tone changes relevantly while we move around is a specific characteristic, that must fit our needs/stage design.
Often, FRFR cabs are chosen for their greater consistency in terms of tonal coherence all around the listening spots.
